News in Education

Since at least 2005 the Wet Tropics Management Authority (Wet Tropics) has been a platinum sponsor of the News in Education pages of The Cairns Post.

Wet Tropics contributes four pages each year to the News in Education. These pages highlight the plants and animals of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and the many activities for children organised by the Wet Tropics including the Young Cassowary Awards and poster competitions.

Wet Tropics is proud of its partnerships with local newspapers and our efforts to educate school children throughout the region.
