Wet Tropics Management Authorty, in collaboration with Terrain NRM, is pleased to present our latest edition of Rainforest Aboriginal News.

In this issue, we acknowledge the passing of Ken Reys, a respected traditional elder and custodian of Gimuy Walubara Yidinji.

Phil Rist, Leah Talbot and Alison Halliday provide strategic updates on behalf of the Authority and Terrain Boards.

We also highlight some recent successes such as the Jalbu Jalbu Land and Sea Management Workshop, the ‘People Country Culture’ calendar, our Rainforest Aboriginal Grants scheme and an increase in Indigenous employment within the Authority.

We hope that you enjoy this third edition of the Rainforest Aboriginal News – April 2017.
