Regional Tourism Organisations

In Queensland, Regional Tourism Organisations (RTO's) are charged with the very important task of marketing and promoting each of their respective destinations.

The Wet Tropics World Heritage Area straddles across the two RTO boundaries of Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) and Townsville Enterprise (TEL). Both RTO's are membership based and industry funded. Their combined network of over 30 Visitor Information Centres can provide you with quality, unbiased information to help plan your visit  and ensure your time in the Wet Tropics region is very special indeed.

Search for accommodation, things to do and experiences to be enjoyed. You can make easily narrow down your research by first selecting the region you are planning to visit. Be sure to check out the live webcams and informative travel blogs.
